About Melinda

Melinda Cobb, L.Ac., graduated from the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Denver, Colorado 2005.  She holds a Master of Science degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine with over 3,000 hours of training in acupuncture.  She established Acupuncture For Life in December of 2005 and has been in practice for five years.  During this time she has also served on the board for the Acupuncture Association of Colorado, helping to promote the understanding of acupuncture to the public.

Melinda is also a graduate of Regis University in Denver and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Psychology.  Melinda graduated with honors and the distinction of Summa Cum Laude in 2006.

Melinda is board certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.  (NCCAOM).  She earned the distinction of Diplomate of Oriental Medicine (Dipl. O.M.) which certifies proficiency in both Acupuncture and Chinese herbology. 

Currently, Melinda is a faculty member of the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine and has taught in the student clinic since 2007.
Melinda continues to study the latest information on Functional Endocrinology and nutritional healing with Standard Process and Apex Energetics and also attends seminars and conferences which allows her to utilize these skills for the best outcome with each patient.

Presently, Melinda has been accepted into the Nursing program at University of Colorado, Anshutz Medical Center and will begin this program in January of 2011, while still maintaining a private practice in Wheat Ridge, CO.
